Whitehead, Glenda Sue
On the evening of June 4 ,2020 Mrs. Glenda Sue (Carroll) Whitehead peacefully passed away surrounded by family in her Hohenwald home. She was born in Lewis county to the late John Alf and Eula Virginia (Hinson) Carroll on June 29,1943. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by sisters Judie (Jerry) Worrell, and Norma (Gene) Mercer.
In her spare time, she enjoyed the great outdoors. She would go fishing or ginseng digging or just sit and watch the deer and turkey cross her back yard. She enjoyed climbing on a four-wheeler and riding around taking in all that nature had to offer. She had a true passion for gardening. She once had a rose garden with 100 different varieties and loved the beauty they each possessed. One could tell her love for flowers by the beautiful landscaping around her home. Mrs. Whitehead loved each moment she was able to be with her family. She never took one moment of family time for granted.
