Lannie Howard “Dutch” Wherry was born July 13, 1937 to the late Braden and Virginia Chessor Wherry, and died on November 13, 2021 at the age of 84.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Elaine Skelton Wherry, grandson Jeff Lake, and his brother Doyle Wherry.

Survivors include his daughters Wannene (Ricky) Chatman, Gina Lynn McCrary, and Pamela Ruth Wherry (Brett) Anderson, 6 grandchildren Lillian, Elisha, Rick, Andrea, Lannie, and Christian, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild, and his sister Wanda (Dwight) Bates.

Visitation will be 15 Nov 2021 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  The Funeral will be 16 Nov 2021 at 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  Burial will be at Oakmont Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
