Linda Fay Weems Smith was born on May 3, 1947 in the Graham Community of Nunnelly, Tennessee and passed away at her home in Nunnelly, Tennessee on November 11, 2022. She was 75 years old.

She is the daughter of the late Kenneth Weems and Noletta Haley Weems.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Weems and by step-grandson, Allen Ferguson.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Judge Samuel H. Smith. Sons, Samuel “Sam” H. Smith II, Kenneth Hailey (Amanda) Smith, John Bradford Smith, and William Maxwell Smith. Grandsons, Hunter Smith and Alec Smith. Granddaughters, Tara (Derrick) O’Guin, Demetria (Brendan) Tennefoss, Olivia Smith, Lilly Smith, and Emma Nordan. Step-Grandchildren, Dylan O’Guin, Luke O’Guin, Kourtney Clayborne, Kelley Clayborne, Kala Fisher, and Joel Fisher. Great-Grandchildren, Daxton O’Guin and Elaina Smith. Sisters, Carolyn Moss, Donna Weems, and Annette Elliot. Many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins and other family members, along with a host of friends.  

Visitation with the family will be November 13, 2022 from  1:00 PM – 8:00 PM and November 14, 2002 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  Funeral Services will be November 14, 2022 at 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County with burial to follow at Bon Aqua Methodist Church Cemetery, Bon Aqua, TN.
