Rickey Joel Weems was born on March 14, 1952 to the late Birdie Mae Hutchison and Willie Douglas Weems. He passed away on September 22, 2021 at the age of 69. Rickey was a brick layer and a member of the Fairfield Church of Christ.

Rickey is preceded in death by two brothers, Darryl Weems and Ronnie Weems. He is survived by his partner of 40+ years, Rita Rodgers; daughter, Lisa Weems; son, Richard Weems; stepdaughters, Brandy and Cindie; brothers, Jerry Weems, Danny Weems, Tony Weems, Mark Weems, Chris Weems, and Glen Weems; sisters, Shelia Wade and Karen Terlecki; and grandchildren, Katie, History, Stonewall, Carly, and Shelby.

Visitation will be September 25, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Nunnelly Community Center, 1400 TN-230, Nunnelly, TN.  A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 PM at the Nunnelly Community Center, 1400 TN-230, Nunnelly, TN.
