Anthony Mitchel Weems, better known as “Tony”, was born on November 17, 1955 to the late Birdie Mae Hutchinson and Willie Douglas Weems. He passed away on March 15, 2022 at the age of 66. Tony was a member of the Nunnelly Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, Tony is preceded in death by his brothers Ronnie Weems, Rickey Weems, and Darryl Weems; and Shanna Young, who he raised as a daughter. He is survived by his son, Anthony Kane Weems; sisters, Sheila Wade and Karen Terlecki; brothers, Dan Weems, Jerry Weems, Mark Weems, Chris Weems, and Glenn Weems; grandsons, Anthony Mason Weems, Ruger Kole Weems, and Briar Case Weems; with one granddaughter on the way; and those he raised as his own daughters, Rachel Warren and Keisha Howell.

Graveside services for Anthony Mitchel Weems will be held on Wednesday, March 16 at 1:30 PM in the Weems Cemetery in Nunnelly, TN.
