Mary Emma Green Webb was born on May 1, 1933, in Centerville, Tennessee, and passed away on November 2, 2021, in Cookeville, Tennessee. She was 88 years old.

She was the daughter of the late James Starling Green and Mary Palestine Conner Green.

She was also preceded in death by her 11 siblings, Addie Davis, Jessie Dale, Lucy Rice, Edith Plunkett, Louise Shepard, Thelma Duncan, Robert Green, Joe Howard Green, Clifford Green, Fred Green, and Charles Green.

She is survived by her loving husband, J Wallace Webb Sr. of Cookeville, Tennessee; daughter, Charlotte (Brent Sr.) Foley of Alaska; son, J Wallace Webb Jr. of Cookeville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Brent Foley Jr. and Angela Foley. Several nieces and nephews. Along with many other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

Mrs. Webb worked as a teacher’s aid, at Wholesome Bread, and most recently as a seamstress at Hotel Captain Cook in Anchorage, Alaska.

She loved fishing, playing Bingo at the Senior Center in Cookeville, growing flowers, and cooking for other people. One of her family’s favorite dishes was her banana pudding. She was a devoted mother and wife.

Visitation will be 10 Nov 2021 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  Services will be held at 12:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County with burial to follow in Charles L Nickell Memorial Park, Centerville, TN.

Mrs. Webb’s family kindly request that all in attendance wear mask and practice social distancing.
