Joe Thomas Wales was born on April 15, 1948 and passed away on October 3, 2022 at the age of 74. Mr. Wales was a Retired U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant.

Mr. Wales is the son of the late Joe Elmer and Callie Mae Fuqua Wales. He is also preceded in death by his brother Don Wales and sister Susan Jinks.

Mr. Wales is survived by his wife, Judi (Heard) Wales of Lyles, TN, daughter, Tammy (David) Thaler of Sheperdsville, KY, son, Tommy (Brandi) Wales of Melbourne Beach, FL, daughter, Barbara Pruitt of Anderson, SC, daughter, Tarah (Rick) Alcott of Anderson, SC, special nephew, Tyrell Wales of Bon Aqua, TN, brother, Rick (Lori) Wales of White House, TN, sister, Ruby Grisham of Hendersonville, TN, sister-in-law, Vicki (Randy) Kirby of Simpsonville, SC and nine grandchildren.

Anyone who wishes to make memorial donations may do so to Vicki Kirby at 6 Windchime Ct. Simpsonville, SC 29680 to begin a fund for the upkeep of the Heard Cemetery Lots at Old Silverbrook Cemetery in South Carolina or to Vetlinx at P.O. Box 1166 Nolensville, TN 37135. 

Visitation with the family will be 7 Oct 2022 at Fairfield Baptist Church, 1863 Hwy 100 E, Centerville, TN from 2:00 – 4:00 PM with a Memorial Service to follow at 4:00 PM.
