Donald Walker Vincent was born on January 28, 1938, in Red Oak, TX and passed away on January 14, 2019, in Nashville, TN at the age of 80. He was the son of the late Ewell True Vincent and Jimmie L. Trees Vincent.
He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Frances Brooks Vincent and sisters, Pobe Davis and Sybil Bray.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Parker Vincent of Bon Aqua, son, Samuel W. Vincent (Heather) of Los Almos, NM, daughters, Nacole Blood (Greg) of Columbia, TN and Tosha Carter (Ron) of Columbia, step-children, Greg Clark, Johnny Clark (Dedra) and Dianne Clark, 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives, friends, and loved ones.
Mr. Vincent was a member of the United States Army during the Korean War. During his professional life, he was a master carpenter and cabinet maker. He also worked in construction. He was a member, deacon and song leader at the 1st Baptist Church in DeSoto, TX, a deacon at the Glen Heights Baptist Church in DeSoto, TX, a member of the Peoples Baptist Church in Corpus Christi, TX. While in Hickman County, he attended the Little Lot Church of Christ and the Hilltop Church of Christ.
Graveside Services will be held 17 Jan 2019 at 11:00 AM at Hilltop Cemetery, Centerville, TN. Burial will be at Hilltop Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
