Vann, Lois Lincoln
Lois Lincoln Vann, age 76 of Bon Aqua, Tennessee, left this earthly life on January 12, 2024. Lois was born in New Jersey, to the late Robert Harris and Lavinia Lee Harris on February 8, 1947.
Lois was a woman of diverse passions and enjoyed the outdoors. She spent a lot of her time hunting, fishing, and many thrilling nights frog gigging. Lois was known for her extraordinary homemade biscuits and a particular pasta dish that became one of her family’s favorites. While commuting to and from work, Lois cherished the timeless tunes of 1950’s music. The Old-fashioned melodies she adored painted the soundtrack of her days. After retirement from Williamson County, she spent time making beautiful dreamcatchers and loved shopping for Native beadwork. Amidst all these pursuits her heart resonated with the companionship of animals. She loved her furry friends. Frisky, Sissy, Buddy, Buster and Gizmo were a few of her favorites throughout the years.
In Addition to her parents Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Vann and brother Jimmy Harris.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Linda Karow (Stevie) Meyers of Bon Aqua, Tennessee; son Jimmy Joe “JJ” Lincoln of Bon Aqua,Tennessee; grandson Steven (Ireland) Karow of Bon Aqua, Tennessee; granddaughter April Karow of Bon Aqua, Tennessee; sister Janice Harris Osborne of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; and 14 great grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family will honor her wishes for cremation and a memorial service will take place at a later date.
