William Samuel Vance Sr. was born on November 1, 1939 in Tiptonville, Tn to the late James B. Vance and Hazel Swindle Vance Dews, and departed this life on July 22, 2022 at Life Care Center in Centerville at the age of 82.

Survivors include his daughter, Tamara Jackson, sister, Catherine Miller, granddaughters, Alicia Vance and Tamara Brewer, and great-grandson, Christopher Shane Hargis.

The family is honoring Mr. Vance’s wishes to be cremated.
