Rena Fay Turnbow, age 78, died Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at the Henderson County Community Hospital. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 27, 2011 in the chapel of McDonald Funeral Home with Glen Floyd, pastor of Freedom Holy Temple Church, officiating. Interment took place in the Swiss Cemetery. Mrs. Turnbow was born December 12, 1932 in Lewis County to the late Edgar and Ocia Lee Nichols Staggs. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her two sons, Joel Turnbow of Columbia and Robbie Turnbow (Anita) of Hohenwald; one daughter, Marsha Mash (Gene) of Huntingdon; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Burel Turnbow; brothers, Berthel, Milburn, Aubry, Jake and Marion Staggs; sister, Geraldine Talley and one grandchild.
