Ms. Nadine Turnbow of Smyrna, TN, formerly of Hohenwald, passed from this life on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at the age of 89.

Nadine was born to Van Campbell Rasbury and Florence (Brown) Rasbury on April 13, 1933, in Wayne County, TN. She married the love of her life and her best friend, Clifford Turnbow, on July 3, 1953, and they were married for nearly sixty years until his passing in 2013. Nadine was a social butterfly. She attended any church or community function she could. She spent her free time going to every Goodwill in Tennessee. She also was a frequent visitor at the Lewis County Food and Clothing Bank. At one time, she was a proud member of the Red Hat Society. Her favorite title she was given in life was that of “Memaw”. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren more than anything and always looked forward to seeing them. Above all, Nadine was a child of God. Today, she has united again with her beloved husband and her Savior in Heaven.

She is survived by her son, Jackie (Sherry) Turnbow of Charlotte, TN, daughter, Beverly (Bill) Judkins of Nashville, TN, sister, Rosetta Shann of Goodlettsville, TN, grandchildren, Dr. Stephanie Judkins (David) Price of Franklin, TN, Ashley Turnbow (Steven) Layne of Hickman Co., TN, Joshua (Ashlinn) Turnbow of Charlotte, TN, and Kaila Judkins of Nashville, TN, and her great-grandchildren, Sadie, Alex, Allie, Josiah, and Addie.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Van Brown Rasbury, Monetta Bullion, Florene Gossett, and Judy Ray.

Visitation with the family will be held on Monday, December 26 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM also in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Swiss Cemetery.
