Dorothy Mae Turnbow, age 75, born, September 30, 1928 in Hohenwald, TN, died, September 15, 2004 at Perry Community Hospital, Linden, TN. The funeral will be held at: McDonald Funeral Home Inc, September 17, 2004 at 11:00 AM. The officiating clergy will be David Salisbury, and Malcolm George. Burial will take place September 17, 2004 in the Swiss Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN. Visitation will be Thursday, September 16, 2004 at 4:30 PM. Mrs. Turnbow was a member Lomax Church of Christ, Pilot Club, Historical Society, Home Demonstration Club and past regent James Lawson DAR. Survivors include sons, Tony and Dan (Debbie) Turnbow; Brothers, Eddie, Larry “Butch” and Horace F. Lawson, Jr.; Sisters, Carol Faye Canady and Judy Throneberry; Granddaughter, Amy Turnbow. Preceded in death by her husband, J. D. Turnbow, and parents, Horace F. Lawson, Sr. and Jessie Lucille (Fain) Lawson.
