Tresp, Terry Wayne
Terry Wayne Tresp, passed away on January 10, 2024, in Hohenwald, Tennessee, at the age of 70. Born on March 30, 1953, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to the late Donald Wayne Tresp & Phyllis Thurman.
Terry was an exceptional artist who found joy in drawing, painting, and leatherwork. His love for music was evident as he skillfully played the bass guitar, with a particular fondness for the melodies of Pink Floyd. Terry’s creative spirit was matched only by his dedication to animal welfare, supporting numerous charities that echoed his love for all creatures great and small.
A cancer survivor, Terry championed the cause of St. Jude Children’s Hospital, embodying hope and courage. His advocacy for simple living was a testament to his belief in the beauty of life’s essentials.
Terry was predeceased by his parents and beloved spouse, Cathey Tresp. He leaves behind his son Trevor Womack, daughters Amanda Tresp and Gena Hull, siblings Scott Nielsen, Donna Tresp, and Rhonda Nielsen, and his grandchildren Caitlin Tresp, David Tresp, Jessie Hull, Jennifer Conway, and Betty Hays, along with twelve great-grandchildren.
There are currently no services scheduled as Mr. Terry’s wishes were to be cremated.
