Traughber, Emilia F
Emilia Elizabeth Fuentes-Traughber, known to those closest to her as “Weezee,” passed away unexpectedly at home in Nunnelly, TN on Monday, August 2, 2021. She was 49 years old.
Born on October 8, 1971, in Warsaw, IN, Emilia was the daughter of Juan and Maria (Rios) Fuentes. She spent her formative years in Northern Indiana and attended Warsaw Community High School. For the past 10 years, she called central Tennessee home.
Professionally, she worked for Pilot/ Flying J in the deli department. She was very hardworking and was a trusted, valued employee. More personally, she was a loving, caring person with a heart for others. She was outgoing and friendly and loved time spent with her family – especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing BINGO and watching soap operas.
On October 18, 1996, Emilia was married to Charles “Chuck” Traughber. Chuck survives as do her children: daughters, Trisha and Tressa Fuentes and sons, Trever Fuentes and Charles Traughber, Jr. and grandchildren: William Fuentes-Vandivort, Levi Traughber, Desiree Fuentes-Hickman and Nevaeh Traughber. Also surviving are brothers: Juan (Renee) Fuentes, Joe (Jamie) Fuentes, Julian Fuentes and Roger Fuentes; sisters: Johnna (Lyn) Fuentes-Krause, Cecilia (Chris) Hostetter and Annie Johnson and mother, Maria Fuentes. She was preceded in passing by her father, Juan Fuentes.
In Tennessee, friends may gather for visitation at McDonald Funeral Home, 102 West End Avenue, Centerville on Friday, August 6, 2021, from 5 to 8 p.m. In Indiana, friends may gather at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw, IN on Monday, August 9 beginning at 11 a.m. Emilia’s Life Celebration® service will follow visitation in Titus Funeral Home at 1 p.m. with Sharon Brockhaus officiating. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, IN.
