Jerry Ray Toy was born in Lyles, Tennessee on September 5, 1948, to the late Bernice Arvil and Freda Mai Jenkins Toy and entered eternal rest in Lyles, Tennessee, on August 18, 2024, at the age of 75 years.

In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his sister Wanda Toy and great grandson Daniel Litton. He is survived by his wife Cheryl Hudgins Toy, children Rita, Dana, Ronnie, Jonathan, Casey and Heather, brother Barry Toy, 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Jerry was a hard worker all his life. He was a master cabinet maker with a stellar reputation for crafting fine pieces that exist in many homes. Jerry loved his family fiercely. He enjoyed fishing, growing a prolific vegetable garden and riding his tractor. Jerry will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
