Tinin, Annie Lorene
Ms. Annie Lorene Tinin, a long-time resident of Hohenwald, passed from this life on to her eternal home on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at the age of 87. Lorene was born on July 13, 1933, to Marshall & Elsie (Ayers) Qualls in West Tennessee. She eventually moved to Hohenwald and raised her children. She was a devoted mother to her children, and never missed an opportunity to spend time with them.
She was a factory worker at Siegels and DANA until her retirement when DANA closed. Getting an education was very important to Lorene. In her sixties, she went back and obtained her GED. Lorene enjoyed many hobbies during her lifetime, but her favorites included cooking, scrapbooking, quilting, gardening, and playing with her grand-dog, Zoey. Most importantly, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother to her family. She never missed the chance to cook for them or spend time with them. Above all, she was a child of God. She enjoyed as many activities with her church family as she could. She was a dedicated member of the Sanctuary, First United Pentecostal Church of Hohenwald.
She is survived by her son, Randy (Sylvia) Tinin of Hohenwald, daughters, Joanne Hensley of Hohenwald, Rosemary (Wade) Bobo of Hohenwald, sister, Pearl Kelley of Michigan, grandchildren, Steven Clayton, Rhonda Vice, Aaron Clayton, great grandchildren, Kazzman Clayton, Brooklyn Clayton, Davina Clayton, Deion Clayton, Jayce Clayton, and Gauge Clayton, and also her great great grandchildren, Bentley, Kasen, Nala, Laken, Lana, and Draven.
