Tiller, Patricia Ann
Patricia Ann Tiller, aged 79, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2025, surrounded by the love of her boys. She was born on October 27, 1945, in Hohenwald, Tennessee, to the late Dewey Boyd and Pearlene Skelton Goodman.
Pat’s life was one of devotion and care. Her two sons, Kevin and Steve, were the center of her world, and she dedicated herself to their upbringing and well-being. As they grew, the roles reversed, and her boys became her steadfast supporters, especially as her health began to decline. Pat was a doting grandmother. Her grandson, Hunter, was her pride and joy. She cherished every moment spent with him and was always proud of him. Her love for her family was boundless, and it was returned in full measure; Pat was truly loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Pat also shared a special connection with her husband, C.M., and her son, Steve, through their love of hunting. She would lovingly prepare whatever they brought home, creating delicious meals that would become sweet family memories.
An avid supporter of her husband, C.M., Pat was not only his support but also his encouragement, especially in his role as an elder at Flatrock Church of Christ. For nearly five decades, she was a devoted member there. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions as a wife, mother, and friend.
In addition to her parents, Dewey and Pearline Goodman, she is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clyde Maurry “C.M.” Tiller, and her sister, Dorothy Sue Hinson.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, Steve (Vickie) Tiller and Kevin Tiller; her grandson, Hunter Tiller; and her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in Downey Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN, with John Eglinton officiating. Visitation with the Tiller family will be from 10:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. in the chapel of McDonald Funeral Home – Lewis County.
