James “Jimmy” Harold Tidwell was born on November 27, 1947 to the late Thelma “Tootsie” Ruth Capps and Lester Howard Tidwell. He passed away on November 8, 2021 at the age of 73.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Tidwell; sisters, Betty Craft and Peggy Haskins; and brothers, Howard “Buddy” Tidwell and Charles Jerry Tidwell.

He is survived by his son, Robert Tidwell (Christina) of Bon Aqua; sisters, Carolyn Nash and Kay Zittlow, both of Lyles; brothers, Larry Tidwell of Waverly and Mike Tidwell of Lyles; as well as two grandsons, Brandon Tidwell and Nathan Tidwell, both of Bon Aqua.

A memorial service for James Tidwell will be announced at a later date.
