Frances Elizabeth Smith Tidwell was born in Centerville on September 15, 1957, to the late Carter “L. C.” Smith and Esther Elizabeth Rosson Smith and died June 26, 2021, at the age of 63 years.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tidwell was preceded in death by sisters Martha Burrow and Brenda Bobo and brother Eugene Smith.

Mrs. Tidwell is survived by daughter Opal Walker of Centerville and son Robert Walker of Centerville, sisters Helen White of Duck River, Lisa Smith of Columbia, and Elaine (Tommy) Fuller of Columbia, brother Wayne Smith of Lexington, and brother-in-law Gene Burrow of Lyles. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Dalton, Andrew, Cameron, and Aiden, one great-grandchild, Ashytn Crumley and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Mrs. Tidwell will be Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at Campground Cemetery, Centerville, TN,  beginning at 12:30 PM.  Bill McDonald will officiate the service.
