Bobby Joe Thornton was born on February 28, 1952 and passed away on October 4, 2021 at the age of 69.

He is the son of the late John Earl Thornton and Thelma Louise Estes Thornton. He is also preceded in death by his son, Michael Thornton.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Thornton, brother, Michael Todd (Susan) Thornton and Johnny Thornton, niece, Ivie Johnston, nephew, Justin Thornton, grandchildren, Johnathon Lucas, Jacob Lucas, Gabyrial Thornton, Timothy Cederoth, Bryan Cederoth and one great grandchild, Scarlett Cederoth.
