James Maverick Thompson (Jim) age 36 of Centerville, passed away peacefully January 14, 2022 at his home in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born March 21, 1985 in Tuscumbia, Alabama to John and Peggy Bradford Thompson of Centerville, Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his sister Pagie B. Durham, his grandparents Sam and Katherine Thompson and Milam and Evelyne Bradford.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his beloved wife Kate (McCoy) Thompson. His siblings Pam (P.J.) Jackson, Daniel (Peggy) Thompson, Cynthia (Jake) McKinley, Robert (Nikkee) Durham, and a host of nieces and nephews.

His remains will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at the Centerville United Methodist Church on Saturday, January 29, 2022. Visitation at 1:00 pm;   Services at 2:00pm. Brother Niles Worsham officiating.
