Marie Ann Tharp, age 77, passed away Monday, January 28, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia. Graveside service will be held today, Thursday, January 31 at Lewis County Memorial Gardens. McDonald Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. A housewife, Mrs. Tharp was married to the late Alfred Richard Tharp. She was born in New Jersey on August 25, 1941 to the late Sidney McDede and Bernice McDede. Survivors include one son, Richard Alfred Tharp; one daughter, Sheri Tharp, both of Manahawkin, New Jersey; granddaughters, Christine Tharp of Hohenwald, Elizabeth Carroll of Columbia, Shanynna Norton and Ariana Schreck, both of Manahawkin, New Jersey; grandson, Mitchell Norton and Daniel Tharp of Manahawkin, New Jersey; great grandchildren, Candace Swaw, Connor Tharp, and Sophie Keeton of Hohenwald, Joey Tharp and Abigail Tharp of Manahawkin, New Jersey.
