Taylor, Shelby Lee
Shelby Lee Taylor, 73, died Friday, January 14, 2011 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 17, 2011 at the Freedom Holy Temple Church with Glen Floyd, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment took place in the church cemetery, adjacent the church. McDonald Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Taylor was born April 4, 1937 in St. Joseph to the late Cranford and Minnie Holt Woodham. She was a homemaker. Survivors include five sons, Tommy, Allen and Earl Taylor, all of Hohenwald, Tim Taylor of Centerville and Terry Taylor of Heber Springs, Arkansas; three daughters, Angie Quillen, Mary Hankins and Kim Holloway, all of Hohenwald; one brother, Zeldon Woodham of Hohenwald; two sisters, Yvonne Fisher of Loretto and Virginia Mae Watts of Hot Springs, Arkansas; 30 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin D. Taylor; sons, Bobby Ray, Frankie and Wade Taylor; daughters, Pamela Sanders and Connie Prince; sister, Betty Holston.
