Nellie Mae Taylor, age 84 of Hohenwald, TN passed away on Wednesday 13 November 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Taylor was born in Hohenwald on May 12, 1935 to the late Eldridge Baker & Vera (Cotham) Baker.

Nellie was married to the late Lester Taylor and together they had 4 children: Mike Taylor, Chuck Taylor, Tonya Davis & Carolyn Parrish. Mrs. Taylor and her husband owned and operated Taylor’s Wrecker Service in Hohenwald, TN until his passing in 2012. The business is still family-owned and operated to this day.

Survivors include Sons, Mike (Melody) Taylor, and Chuck (Anne) Taylor both of Hohenwald, Daughters, Tonya Davis of Hohenwald and Carolyn Parrish of Chickamauga, GA;  five Grandchildren, Tori (Adam) Coble, Jon (Nikki) Taylor, Megan Taylor, Toni Jean (Cazz) Crowder & Tammy (David) Pierce, and six great-grandchildren, Henton, Lena, Madilyn, Amaya, Erica & Ariel.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eldridge & Vera Baker, husband, Lester Taylor and grandchild, Mica Jade Taylor.

Visitation with the family will be held on 15 Nov 2019 beginning at 4:30 PM McDonald Funeral Home – Lewis County. Funeral Services will be held on 16 Nov 2019 at 2:30 PM McDonald Funeral Home – Lewis County. Burial will be held in the Downey Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN.
