Carl J.B. Taylor, 85 of Bon Aqua, Tennessee, passed away at Tri Star Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN, on May 8, 2023. Mr. Taylor was born to the late Claudia Jane Taylor and Walter Raymond Taylor.

Mr. Taylor was employed by the Nashville Bridge Company and worked as a welder for most of his life. In his early days he was a part of the Grand Ole Opry House Band. He loved spending time with the grandchildren, taking the boat out to go fishing and playing a tune on his guitar.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Taylor is preceded in death by his two brothers, Harold Taylor and Irby Taylor, his late wife, Aretta Taylor, grandson, Cody Taylor and son, Carl Taylor, Jr.

J.B. Taylor is survived by his daughter, Janit Hall (Keith) and son, James Taylor (Cammie), four grandchildren and four great grandchildren, who all brought him great joy.

His daughter will honor his wishes with a graveside service on May 10,  2023 from 11:oo AM – 12:00 PM at Warf Cemetery. Gordon Mangrum will officiate the service.
