Tate, Miller Juanita
Miller Juanita Tate, Greenfield, died Thursday, November 21, 2002 at VanAyers Nursing Home in Martin. She was 75. The funeral was held Sunday, November 24, at 2:00 pm in Greenfield with Robert Archie, Richard Tate, and Kenneth Williams officiating. Burial was in the Hornbeak Cemetery in Greenfield. Mrs. Tate, daughter of the late Willie Jefferson and Miller Elizabeth Argo Walker, was born December 12, 1926 in Trezevant. She was a homemaker. She is survived by three daughters, Sandra (Larry) Hazelwood of Dresden, Ginger (Robert) Archie of Greenfield, and Jo Ann (Joe) Konkol of Union City; a son, Richard (Kathy) Tate of Hohenwald; a brother, Bobby Walker of Trezevant; six sisters, Wilodean Long, Darlene Walker, and Peggy Bateman of Trezevant, Onaric Akin of Bradford,, Faye Akin of Milan, and Diane Gee of Dover; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carnell Tate.
