Lucille Talley was born on August 24, 1931 in Hickman County, Tennessee and went home to be with the Lord on February 3, 2023 in Columbia, Tennessee. She was 91 years old.

She is the daughter of the late Roy Carter Talley and Alice Mae Talley.

She was also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Quentin Talley, daughter, Kaye Totty, son, Danny Smith, siblings, Eddie Talley, Paul Talley, Opal Whittle, Monroe Talley, Rex Talley, and Norma Beard, and granddaughter Stephanie Ray.

She is survived by her daughters, Faye (Kenny) Kelly of Parsons, Lisa (John) McCullough of Shelbyville, and Paula (Danny) Neiderheiser of Dickson. Brother, Howard (Christine) Talley of Centerville. Sister, Orpha Easley of Centerville. Grandchildren, Lee Ann Hamilton, Denise Wilkerson, Hailey Neiderheiser, and Logan Neiderheiser. Two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Special daughter-in-law. Angela Cantrell. Along with many other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

Mrs. Talley was a member of the Beaverdam Springs Church of Christ.

Most of her working years were spent at the Levi Strauss Factory in Centerville. Later on, she also worked at the H&W Hotel in Centerville.

She was an accomplished seamstress. She made many articles of clothing, quilts, pillows, hand embroidery pieces, and many other beautiful works over the years. Mrs. Lucille will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends.

Visitation with the family will be February 6, 2023 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  Funeral Services will be February 7, 2023 at 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home  – Hickman County with burial to follow at Charles L Nickell Memorial Park.
