Mary Lourene Sweeney, N. Pine, 91, died Monday, July 1, 2002 at Life Care Center in Columbia. She was the daughter of the Late George and Lillian Wright McClaren. She was born July 30, 1910 in Farmer’s Exchange. She was a former bookkeeper at the funeral home in Oak Ridge. The funeral was held Wednesday, July 3 at 1:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home with Chip Hunter, pastor of United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the Bethel Cemetery in Pleasantville. Survivors include a step-daughter, Patricia Macjejewski of Kissimmee, Florida; four nieces, Carolyn Gafford of Hohenwald, Peggy Patterson of Stone Mountain, Georgia, Brenda McClaren of California and a nephew, Kenneth Hinson of Lawrenceburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Sweeney.
