Stutzman, Rae Ann
Rae Ann Stutzman was born on August 11, 1942 in Orville, Ohio to Donald and Geraldine Wolgamont Stutzman, and departed this life on September 8, 2022 at the age of 80.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte and brother-in-law Orvis Evans of Massillon,Oh).
Survivors include her sons, Andre (Kelli) Kocher and Theron (Cindy) Kocher. Grandchildren, Kyle, Patrick (Tiffany) Kocher, Ryan, Jake Kocher and Chelsea McBride. Great-grandchildren, Caden, Chase, Brinley & Addison Kocher, Braxton Maiden, Marley, Kingston, Kyree, and Journey McBride. Nephews, Jeff (Peaches), Dean and Mark (Linda) Evans and many great-nieces and nephews.
Rae Ann was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. She was heavily involved in many charities and loved to volunteer. She was the Secretary for Help for the Homeless, and a long time volunteer for Women Are Safe which supports victims of domestic violence. She also volunteered her time to many more non-profits.
Rae Ann was a free spirit who loved everyone. She loved spending time with her family and her best friend Christopher Lonas. She was a talented artist who loved to create and loved spending time with her Mimosa Monday group, Book club & yoga class. She loved being involved in Centerville Marketplace with Korie Cochran as well. She was a humanitarian, an activist and was very vocal about the things she believed in. She marched with Martin Luther King in Washington, she marched for women’s rights, she volunteered in a Suicide Prevention program and so many other causes. Her adventures are too many to list….she was selfless and loved fiercely. Her kindness was unmatched. She left her mark in the world and on all who knew and loved her.
A life well lived.

Rae Ann’s Celebration of Life will be held at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County on Sunday, Sept 18, 2022 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm.
