Stricklin, Jewell Dean
In 1973, Jewell found love again and married Jesse Norman Stricklin. Together, they shared a beautiful journey that spanned over five decades. Their love for each other was evident to all who knew them, and their shared passion for travel took them to many beautiful places. Jewell and Norman found joy at the beach and in the mountains. Most of all Jewell loved her family dearly.
In addition to her parents, Jewell is preceded in death by her brothers, Osby Cross and Lawrence Cross.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Jesse Norman Stricklin, of Parsons, Tennessee, brother Dale Cross, son Kenny O’Dell Pratt (Suzanne) of Parsons, Tennessee, daughter Rita Pratt Henderson (Greg) of Columbus, Indiana, son Daryll Stricklin of Decaturville, Tennessee, daughter Dana Smith of Memphis, Tennessee, grandchildren, Lindsey (Keith) of Whites Creek, Tennessee, Jeremy (Kristina) of Jackson, Tennessee, Jake Henderson (Emily) of Colorado, Megan (Wheeler) of Lexington, Tennessee, Ellen Henderson of California, Emily Yates of Memphis, Tennessee, Whitney Hunter (Abraham) of Memphis, Tennessee, and Austin Smith of Memphis, Tennessee. Great-grandchildren, Anna, Abel, Lynn, Levi, Olivia, Archer, Leo and Issac.
Her memory will live on in the hearts she touched and in the beautiful moments she created throughout her life.

Visitation with the family will be 28 June 2024 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. – Hickman County. Funeral Services will be 28 June 2024 at 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County with burial to follow at Qualls Cemetery.
