Lela M. Staggs, age 95, born May 11, 1908 in Perry Co., TN, died April 13, 2004 at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly, TN. The funeral will be held at: McDonald Funeral Home Inc, April 15, 2004 at 11:00 AM . The officiating clergy will be Artie Collins. Burial will take place April 15, 2004 in the Downey Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN. Visitation will be April 14, 2004 at 4:30 PM. Survivors include son, George Staggs; Daughters, Elsa Carpenter and Lil Soao; 8 Grandchildren; 22 Great-grandchildren; 5 Great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Staggs and Bill and Sarah (Lomax) McDonald.
