Annie Lee Staggs, better known as Anne, was born on July 29, 1935 to the late Nellie Cude and Jackson Dudley. She passed from this life on April 20, 2022 at the age of 86. She was a member of the Fairfield Baptist Church. Anne ran a grocery business for 50+ years. When she wasn’t working she liked to travel, visiting the mountains and taking trips on the river.

In addition to her parents, Anne is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Staggs, and her sister, Dessie Nash.

She is survived by her half-sister, Linda Davidson; half-brother, Carl Lawrence; nieces, Glenda McDaniel, Amy Medley, Susan Heinken, and Velvet Christopher; and nephew, Brandon Davidson.

A funeral service for Annie Lee Staggs will be held on Sunday, April 24 at 2:00 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Charles L. Nickell Memorial Park, Centerville, TN. A visitation with the Staggs family will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.
