Joyce A. St. John, 79, of Decaturville, Tenn., passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, July 11, at Jackson General Hospital.

She is survived by her two sons, Scott, and Douglas; a daughter-in-law, Paula; two grandchildren, Amber and Sarah, both of Texas; and six great-grandchildren, as well as a host of friends and relatives.

Joyce was born July 9, 1942, in Syracuse, New York where she raised her two sons. She also received a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York College at Brockport in 1978. After retirement from the Nine Mile Point Nuclear Facility in 2004, she moved to Tennessee where she then worked 15 years at Westwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center right up until Dec. 2020.

Services for Joyce will be held at The Seventh Day Adventist Church in Parsons on Thursday, July 15, 2021, where she attended faithfully for over 12 years.
