Sara Ann Gouldman Snook, born in Chicago, Illinois, on November 4, 1955, entered eternal rest on April 29, 2025, in Lyles, Tennessee, at the age of 70.

Sara was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished member of her community. She is preceded in death by her beloved son Brian Lee Snook; her sister, Chris Martin; brother-in-law, Ken Martin; and her brother, Bill.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Buddie Lee Snook; her son, Richard Snook; her brothers Bob, Ben, Bud, and Buck; her sisters Dessie, Debbie, and Darlene; her nephew, Kenny Martin; and her great-nephews Alex, Avery, and Aidan.

Sara had a passion for sports, especially baseball and football, and was known for her love of board games and cards. She was an exceptional cook, best known for her delicious spaghetti and meatballs, comforting goulash, and famous pistachio cake.

Above all, Sara loved her family and friends deeply. Her warm heart, sense of humor, and generous spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered with love and missed beyond measure.

Sara’s family is honoring her wishes for cremation.
