Mrs. Wilma Smith of Hohenwald, TN passed away Sunday evening at AHC Lewis County at the age of 92. She was born in Hohenwald on June 3, 1929, to the late George David Rose & Mary Maye Redding. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Howell Smith.

She is survived by her sons, Bobby (Judith) Smith & David (Maggie) Thomas of Hohenwald, daughter June (James) Aydelott of Centerville, sister Dorothy Faye Thomas, 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren with 1 on the way and 1 great-great-grandchild with another on the way.

Mrs. Smith lived a very simple, peaceable life. She enjoyed the simple things in life such as fishing with her late husband or riding with him on his motorcycle. She worked at Siegels for many years but found her true passion with she worked as a Nanny for the late Dr. Anand. She was a member of the Salem Church of Christ. She loved to feed people and if you knew her or came to visit, you never left hungry.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 30 beginning at 3:00 PM at the Salem Church Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN. Visitation with the family will be held on the same day from 1:00 PM – 2:45 PM.
