He was the beloved son of the late Earl Thomas Smith Sr. and Annie Lee Hatcher Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his eight siblings.

Mr. Smith is lovingly survived by his wife, Juanita Martin Smith; his daughter, Arcana (Greg) Bernard; his son, Stanley (Priscilla) Smith; and his brother, Rawleigh Smith. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and extended family who will cherish his memory.

Earl was a man of many talents and a true handyman, able to accomplish anything he set his mind to. He had a deep love for animals and found great joy in farming and gardening, passions that reflected his hardworking spirit and appreciation for the simple blessings of life.
