Billie Odell Smith, 89, formerly of Hohenwald, died Friday, February 11, 2011 at Beechwood Assisted Living in Taylor, Michigan. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2011 in the McDonald Funeral Home chapel with L.C. Loveless officiating. Burial took place in the Lewis County Memorial Gardens. Born July 11, 1921 in Ellijay, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Davenport and Fannie Emma Bowers Davenport. A housewife, Mrs. Smith was married to the late Louis Smith. Survivors include one son, Amion Thomas Camplin of Westland, Michigan; two grandsons, Shawn Edgar (Cathy) Camplin of Huron Township, Michigan and Scott Vincent Camplin of Westland, Michigan; one great granddaughter, Connor Camplin of Huron Township, Michigan.
