Bonnie Lucille “Lucy” Skelton, of Hohenwald, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019, at the age of 80. She was born on December 18, 1938, to Claude Davidson and Olevia Horner Davidson.

She married the love of her life, William “Bill” Skelton, and eventually they moved to Hohenwald. She was a homemaker all of her adult life. She and Bill were faithful members of Hohenwald Church of Christ for a number of years. She was an avid gardener and a great cook. She loved Tennessee Volunteers football beyond words! She was also an experience scrapbooker and quilter as well. Also, she lived for her grandbabies.

Along with her husband, Bill, she is survived by her son, Philip (Michelle) Skelton of Hodgenville, KY, daughters, Deborah (Doug) Johnston of Madison, AL, and Kristy (Kevin) Rupe of Huntsville, AL, brother, Jerry (Carol) Davidson of Westville, IN, sister, Wilma Bush of Hohenwald, TN, and grandchildren, Chandler Skelton, Kyndall Skelton, Olivia Johnston, Jack Rupe, and Morgan Rupe.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Claude Davidson and Bernard Davidson, and sisters,  Mildred Coble, Audrey Harris, Virginia “Ginny” Hinson,  and Iva Pearl Tatum.

Visitation with the family will be held on Oct 19, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Oct 20, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel- Lewis County with Greg Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery in Pleasantville, TN.
