Delphia Onez Simmons, age 89, died 16 June 2004 at Centennial Medical Center, Nashville, TN. The funeral will be held at Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church, June 18, 2004 at 1:00 PM. The officiating clergy will be Dwayne Sparks. Burial will take place June 18, 2004 in Deavers Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN. Visitation will be Thursday June 17, 2004 at 2:30 PM at the funeral home and from 9:00 AM until service time on Friday at the church. Sons, Garry , Bobby, James [Dorothy], and Edward (Catherine) Simmons; Daughters, Kathleen (Jeff) Carroll Tanner and Sue (Tommy) Ayers; 18 Grandchildren; 34 Great-grandchildren; 14 Great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Simmons was born March 22, 1915 in Lewis Co., TN. She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Carl Simmons; father, John Hickman Hensley and mother, Susie Melvina (Stephens) Hensley.
