Shirley Ann Sharp, 79, of Hohenwald, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019. She was born on April 4, 1940, to Jasper Owen and Sarah Marie Sharp in Perry Co., TN.

She was a factory worker for many years, but she was best known for selling the best ICEE’s at Brown’s Variety in Hohenwald.

Survivors include sisters,  Lyda Mae Hooper of Hohenwald, TN, Mary Jane LaBar (Jack) of Hohenwald, TN, and Gwenda Ellison of Hohenwald, TN, brothers, Bill Sharp (Kathy) of Hohenwald, TN, and Bobby Joe Sharp (Connie) of Hohenwald, TN, special friend, Glenda Carroll of Hohenwald, TN along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper Owen Sharp and Sarah Marie Hensley Sharp, and three brothers, Ray Sharp, Buddy Sharp, and Ronald Sharp.

Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2019, at 5:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home in Hohenwald. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 2, 2019, at 1:00 PM, in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel. Marcus Webb and Jeff Gandy will officiate. Burial will follow in the Lewis County Memorial Gardens, Hohenwald, TN.
