Seiber, Ruby Carol
Ruby Carol Seiber beloved sister, wife, aunt, mother, and friend, passed away Sunday December 12, 2021 in her home after fighting covid. She was 65 years old.
Ruby was born April 16, 1956 to her parents Doc and Johnnie Haskins. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents Doc and Johnnie Haskins, her brother Charles Haskins, and her husband Wayne Seiber. Ruby survived alongside her sister Mildred Capps, her son Scott Seiber, as well as some nieces and nephews. Ruby also survived by her two most loyal companions, her dogs, Skylar and Brandy.
Ruby was a very strong believer in God. Ruby attended Wrigley Church of God of Prophecy in her later years of life. She attended with her beloved sister Mildred almost every Sunday. Ruby and Mildred were inseparable, going everywhere with one another.
Ruby was an amazing cook. She would make meals to take to friends and family. Ruby would cook for fun because she was a stay-at-home mom and wife. Ruby took pride in her home, as well as herself. Ruby was very artistic. She refurbished old furniture and make it look newer than it ever has. She was a jack of all trades, if you will. She succeeded in anything she put her mind to.
Ruby’s favorite, besides her sister Mildred, were her dogs. Ruby flourished at being a dog mom. Ruby had a yorkie named Toby whom lived 19 years before he passed and was her pride and joy. Ruby treated her dogs as she if they were her children.
Ruby was a very kind hearted and genuine woman. She donated to many organizations, for example. Ruby would give until she had nothing left. She was soft spoken and gentle with anyone and anything, but would speak up for anyone who needed a voice.
Ruby was surrounded by loved ones who will miss her dearly. She was a woman that people strive to be just like. Anyone who knew her felt blessed with her presence. She had a beauty without trying. She had the best sense of humor and would fill the room with laughter. She was a great joy just to be around.
Ruby’s wishes were to be cremated with no service.
A Memorial Service will be held 8 Jan 2022 at 1:00 PM at Empowered Ministries Church, 119 W Christie Drive, Dickson, TN 37055.
