Wilburn “Luke” Scott was born on December 13, 1935, and he went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his family on May 19, 2024, at the age of 88.

Mr. Scott is the son of the late Eddie and Florence Ragsdale Scott. He is also preceded in death by his son Eddie Scott, sister Hazel McGaw, brother Clifton Scott, brother Granville Scott and brother Eddie Eugene “Gene” Scott.

Mr. Scott is the founder of the Three Wives Club and is survived by his first wife Juanita Medders and their children: Tonya Mangrum (Mark Predeceased), and Shanna (David) Cochran; his second wife Annie Kelley and their children: Jason (Amanda) Scott, and Terri (Jeremy) Boshers; his third wife Shirley Scott and their children: Crystal (Tim) Robison, Charlie (Angie) Scott, Rodney (Michelle) Scott, and Susie (Jacob White) Scott, along with 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and brother Hubert Scott. The family has asked for the following to serve as pallbearers: Blake Runions, Jerry Jenkins, Taylor Sinks, Austin Cochran, Chris Scott, and Jacob White, Robert Keele. The family has also asked for the following to serve as honorary pallbearers: Mitchell Jenkins, Rufus Springer, Mark Pryor, and any Hickman County School Bus Driver that may be in attendance.

Mr. Scott enjoyed many things in life however, the most important to him was Loving and Serving the Lord, his favorite trips were to the mountains to take hikes to the waterfalls and enjoy God’s creation, he also enjoyed small engine repair, fishing, cutting wood and Gardening.

The Family would like to give their warmest thanks and gratitude to Amedisys Palliative Care, AseraCare Hospice, and All the Family who gave special care and attention during Mr. Scott’s time of need.

Visitation with the family will be 22 May 2024 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County and 23 May 2024 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at Fairfield Baptist Church, 1863 Hwy 100 E, Centerville, TN.   Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM.  Burial will be at Hilltop Cemetery, Lyles, TN.
