Elise Marie Scott, 143 Troy Lane, died Friday, August 30, 2002 at her home. She was 67. Graveside services were held Sunday, September 1 at 2:00 p.m. in Napier Cemetery with Gloria Watts and Terry Bunch officiating. Mrs. Scott was the daughter of the late Truman and Onie Bell Brake Burns, born December 4, 1934 in Hickman County. She was the owner of The Junk Store. She is survived by her husband, James W. Scott of Hohenwald, a son, Ricky Scott of White House; a daughter, Renita Tenry of Hohenwald, a brother, Donald Burns of White House; a sister, Jessie Derseweh of Greenbrier; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, In addition to her parents, Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by brothers, Joe Nolan Burns, Clarence Burns, and twin brother Ellis Dee Burns, and a sister Jimmie Ahrens.
