Bennett James Schmid was born on February 25, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee and left this world on June 8, 2022 in Clarksville, Tennessee. He was 4 years old.

He is the son of John Tyler Schmid and Rebecca Lynn Copley Schmid.

Along with his parents he is survived by his brother Hudson Briggs Schmid. Grandparents Marc and Sonja Schmid and Jimmy and Cathie Copley. Uncle Jamie (Ashley) Schmid and their children Paisley and Paxton, Uncle David (Meredith) Copley and their children Ainsley and Elliott, and Aunt Mary (Rafe) Horton and their children Rhett and Ruby Kate. Along with many other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

Bennett James was an energetic and loving child. He had fun no matter where he was and never met a stranger. His love for Jesus, family and friends was unmeasurable. He sang praise songs every day on his way to school and while he was playing. He was his father’s second shadow and his mother’s protector always wanting to help. Bennett had a servant heart and was a blessing to all that he met.

Visitation with the family will be 11 June 2022 from 3:00 – 8:00 PM and 12 June 2022 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the Centerville Church of Christ, Centerville, TN.  Funeral Services will be 12 June 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Centerville Church of Christ, Centerville, TN with burial to follow at Little Lot Cemetery, Duck River, TN.
