Robert Wayne Salyers, age 63, born December 18, 1941 in Ashland, Boyd Co, KY, died May 6, 2005 at his residence in Hohenwald, TN. The Memorial service will be held at: Piney Baptist Church, May 9, 2005 at 1:00 PM. The officiating clergy will be Rex Reed. There will not be a Visitation. Survivors include his wife, Jessie Louise (Carroll) Salyers; father, Marvin Salyers; son, Christopher Bryant Salyers; daughter, Tina Renea LaPorte; sisters, Lana Gajos and Margie Swanson; grandsons, Jeremy D. Glenn and Kaden B. Salyers; granddaughter, Ashley B. Glenn. Preceded in death by his mother, Louise (McGuire) Swanson.
