Mr. Doyle Bates Rushton was born on August 20,1932, to the late John Samuel and Sarah Lou Bates Rushton in the Coble community of Hickman County and entered into rest on November 18, 2022 at the age of 90.

Mr. Rushton proudly served our Country in the United States Air Force where he retired as a Master Sergeant.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Rushton is preceded in death by six sisters and his grandson, Joshua Rushton. He is survived by his wife, Margie Marie Emler Rushton, and sons, Ted (Ranee) Gilbert, Wayne (Carol) Gilbert, and John Rushton.
