Bob Elihue Runions, 86, of Linden, died Wednesday, January 6, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Hinson officiating. Interment took place in the Palestine Cemetery. Mr. Runions was born April 15, 1923 in Hampshire to the late James Addly and Perfunie Embler Runions. He worked as a logger and a farmer. Survivors include his wife, Susan Shanes Runions of Linden; son, James A. Runions of Hohenwald; daughter, Linda Reeves of Hohenwald; four step-sons, Johnny Hicks of Lexington, Bobby Hicks of Decaturville, Thomas and Kenneth Hicks both of Hohenwald; one step-daughter, Mary Cooley of Waverly; one sister, Lavada Parrish of Winchester; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; 16 step-grandchildren and one step-great grandchild.
