Freddie William Roth Services for Freddie William Roth, age 81, were held Sunday, February 21, 2010 in the chapel of McDonald Funeral Home. David Salisbury, minister of Lomax Church of Christ, Maryland Spears and Phil Oliver officiated. Burial took place in the Graves Cemetery in Perry County. Mr. Roth died February 19, 2010 at Lewis Health Center in Hohenwald. He was born December 12, 1928 in Lewis County to the late Frederick Jacob Roth and Gertrude Wolf Roth. The husband of Georgia Ruth Turnbow Roth, he was an Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was employed as a project manager for Edwin Blocker Paving Company, Brinley Construction Company, Charles Green Construction Company, Wayne County Highway Department, and Jenkins and Jenkins Construction. Mr. Roth was an employee of the Tennessee State Highway Department for 30 years, retiring in 1978. In addition to his wife, Mr. Roth is survived by one son, David Roth; one daughter, Sharon (Phil) Roth-Oliver; two sisters, Wilma Churchwell and Freda Lewis; two granddaughters, Emma and Katie Oliver. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Martha Watson.
