Rochelle, Thelma Sue
For many years Sue worked at the Levi’s Factory, where she took great pride in her craft and the friendships she built along the way. Her skilled hands didn’t rest when the workday ended. She found joy in hand stitching quilts, carefully piecing together fabric and memories for those she loved. Each stitch told a story and her family treasures the warmth of the quilts she made.
After retirement, Sue found happiness in life’s simple treasures, especially working jigsaw puzzles. She would spend hours patiently fitting the pieces together. Above all Sue was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved her family dearly and cherished every moment spent with them. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her kind heart and the love she poured into everything she did.
In addition to her parents, Sue is reunited in peace with her late daughter, Tammie Denise Beard, and siblings, Irene Hooper, Thomas Rochelle, and Elmer Rochelle.
Left to honor and celebrate her life are her children, Glenda (Sean) Howell, Roger (Janice) Rochelle, Kenneth (Denise) Rochelle and Patricia (Mike) Crutcher; seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and several step grandchildren. Additionally, she is survived by her beloved sisters, Loretta Orton, Reesie Hanes, and brothers, Curtis Rochelle, Wilson Rochelle, Jasper Rochelle, Gerald Rochelle and Marvin Rochelle.
Sue will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of sharing in her life.
McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville, Tennessee is honored to be serving the Rochelle Family during this difficult time.
